It’s definitely time for a new pair of paddock boots. After two winters, they’ve had it. I know these boots are meant for horseback riding and cleaning barns, but they totally rock as street shoes. They are comfortable and practical with just the right amount of kick-ass thrown in. They have a narrower profile than army boots or docs, so they look great with skirts. They are made of really stiff leather, so take a little breaking in. The only place I’ve found them is a veterinary supply store in Kentucky, but shipping is pretty quick and their website allows me to feel like a country girl. Warning – you will get called out for wearing paddock boots on the street from the occasional equestrian.
